Maia Delegal, a Junior, was recently featured in Case Daily for her efforts to raise awareness for mental health advocacy. By helping to establish CWRU’s first National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) chapter, Maia has provided new avenues for mental health awareness and support for students. The group works closely with NAMI of Greater Cleveland, which has provided the students with training to become peer group facilitators.
